We are pleased to announce, after discussions with our surgeons and seeing the increased interest in improving patient outcomes, that we have expanded our portfolio to include two new products in regenerative medicine.
First, we have Lipo-Med for use in harvesting through liposuction, closed-loop processing, concentrating, and subsequent re-injection in different human body regions of autologous adipose tissue during the same surgery. Autologous adipose tissue is rich in mesenchymal stem cells that can be used in other clinical applications, including orthopaedic surgery, arthroscopic surgery, wound healing, plastics, and reconstructive surgery.
Second, NuvaBone. This is an innovative line of synthetic bone graft substitutes based on nano-structured biomimetic hydroxyapatite, for application in orthopaedics, traumatology, spine, and neurosurgery. NuvaBone hydroxyapatite is a calcium-phosphate biomaterial equivalent to the mineral matrix of human bone, both in chemical composition and in structure, with a Ca/P ratio of 1.67. This product is available in a number of different formats to suit different bone loss situations.
