The 107th SIOT Congress will take place from 29 to 31 October 2024.
“Unusual dates, as they are midweek, but with the prospect of a holiday weekend starting on Friday 1 November: we are certain that this eventuality, in an otherwise short working week , will bring a very high participatory interest to the event which has marked, for more than a century, the most important point in the life of our parent company, SIOT. There have been many evolutions and organizational transformations of our Congress: from mono to bi-thematic, and now to a container of themes that reflect the vastness of orthopaedic and traumatological science.
“Above all, however, and in particular in recent years, the socio-economic and health policy situation has changed rapidly, with significant changes in the orthopaedic offer: private healthcare is growing and desired by many, the decrease in interest in operating in public, the impact of uncontrolled immigration and last but not least the recent Sars-Cov-2 pandemic, which has dramatically brought to our attention the allocation of healthcare resources, especially in our orthopedic field, which also has a fundamental weight in quality of our life. “
